Relaxing and unwinding on a gorgeous Summer evening in the garden surely needs only one addition – and that’s a glorious cocktail!
Pimm’s is the quintessential English Summer drink – here’s how to make an alcoholic and non-alcoholic version for all to enjoy…
For a jug serving 3-4 with traditional Pimm’s you’ll need:
- 200ml Pimm’s No. 1
- 600ml lemonade
- mint sprigs, sliced cucumber, sliced orange and strawberries
- crushed ice
- serving jug
Simply fill your jug with crushed ice then pour over the Pimm’s and lemonade, stir well. Next add the mint, cucumber and fruit – then relax and enjoy!
For a Pimm’s mocktail, you’ll need:
- 600ml lemonade
- mint sprigs, sliced cucumber, sliced orange and strawberries
- crushed ice
- serving jug
- and the magic ingredient – balsamic vinegar (yes, really!)
Add the mint, sliced cucumber and fruit to your jug and top up with lemonade, leaving some space for the crushed ice. Now add a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, give it a stir and adjust to taste using more balsamic vinegar if required – then enjoy!
